 Introduction
The painting of Byzantine icons is alive - Selection of Icons from different parts of the world - Index-Imagebase Info - About Byzantine Icons - Testimonies

        A Selection of Icons
33 Icons are shown, one each of an Iconographer of each of the 33 countries. It goes to show that
Contemporary icons can just be as beautiful as their ancient counterparts.

 Iconographers Index-Imagebase Entry Page
The Entry Page allows selection of the Index-Imagebase in two different configurations :
(1) A New Three-Part Configuration wherein all data are divided into three parts which are housed in a
frames-based page. The new configuration loads quicker and is viewed well by Firefox users.
(2) The Original "All-in-One" Configuration loads easily on many computers but takes more time on older
ones and is less well viewed by Firefox users.

Present number of entries is about 250, including 235 contemporary iconographers from all over the world.
