Internet resource for Byzantine Icons, Frescoes and Mosaics.
At its core the site has two very large illustrated Resource Pages with a
combined total of over 11,000 annotated links to (images of) Byzantine Icons, Frescoes and Mosaics
- one for Ancient & Medieval Icons and another for Contemporary Icons. The website provides
or improves insight into a number of pertinent icon-related topics, the purpose being to enable the
visitor to (re)discover the Beauty and Meaning of Icons.
