I am truly grateful that there is
considerable Sacred Beauty out there to see, ready to serve the church, or to
be sold to private invividuals and collectors. And this not only in traditional
byzantine countries, but in many others as well.
If this is the first
time you hear about the
FREE
LISTING feature, here is what it's about:
ICONS EXPLAINED offers an
opportunity to each Byzantine Iconographer to have his (her) Icon Website
listed in the
INDEX,
FREE of Charge!
'Website' also can mean 'Web Presence'. You may not presently have a
website, but your iconography work may well be visible on the web under some
other form. For example, an art critic may have written a review of your work,
or a journalist may have written a story in the printed media or online. Some
of your works may be showing (online) in other ways as well.
In each of
the above you can list your Website or Web Presence, FREE of charge. If this is
of interest to you, then kindly send me an
e-mail message and include therein the following specifics:
- First name and family name
- Country of residence
- The URL of your website, or other web presence
- One high-resolution icon image preferably sized 150 KB or
greater, with a theme of your choice
- A short Bio (optional)
Finally, if you
are presently not on the web and you like a 'web presence' similar to that of
M Tauc or
E Touma, and provided your icons are 'byzantine', then
send me an
e-mail message and
include a high-resolution icon image preferably sized 150 KB or
greater. Once I have received your material and I like it, I will make you a
proposal and quote you a price.
I am looking forward to hearing from
you,
Peter de Ruyter
