Here are The Three Hierarchs of the Church (The Three Early Church Fathers). From left to right : Saint Basile-the-Great (329-379), Saint John Chrysostom (347-407), and Saint Gregory the Theologian (328-389). These three Hierarchs were as much politicians as that they were Church Fathers. They are both the founders of Christian Orthodox Theology and Doctors of the Catholic Church.

Saint Basil-the-Great and Saint Gregory the Theologian (also known as Saint Gregory of Nazianzus) were of about the same age and close friends during their lifetimes.
